Dès son tout jeune âge, Jean-Daniel baigne dans la musique et c’est à quatorze ans qu’il découvre la batterie. À 18 ans, il décroche son premier contrat professionnel avec le groupe Nomadic Massive lors d’une performance à Hartford au Connecticut. Un an plus tard, il s’installe pour une période de deux mois la Havane (Cuba) afin de s’imprégner et mieux comprendre la musique latine. C’est avec Vox Sambou qu’il vit sa première expérience de tournée internationale en visitant l’Afrique de l’ouest, l’Europe, l’Asie et l’Amérique du sud. Il participe ensuite à la tournée canadienne de The Duck Wife, un projet alliant danse, rock et opéra.

Plus récemment, Jean-Daniel a pris part à plusieurs projets d’artistes locaux de la scène métissée, du hip- hop ou de la chanson dont Malika Tirolien, Sarah MK, Emrical, Shauit, Jahnice+, Time Capsule, Mademoiselle Philippe, Francois Lachance, Andrei Nobbs et Ogguere.

Jean-Daniel has always been surrounded by music but it's at the age of fourteen that he discovered his passion for drums. He obtained his first professional contract with Nomadic Massive in Hartford, CT only four years later. Shortly after, he settled in Havana, Cuba for two months in order to acclimate himself with latin music. His first experience of worldwide tour came with Vox Sambou, with whom he visited West Africa, Europe, Asia and South America. He also joined The Duck Wife, a project that incorporates dance, rock and opera, on their Canadian tour. In 2012, Jean-Daniel joined The Liquor Store, which whom he recorded Room For Everyone (2016) and performed in renowned settings such as the Montreal International Jazz Festival.

Jean-Daniel also participates in many projects of mixed genres, ranging from hip-hop to singer and songwriters such as Malika Tirolien, Sarah MK, Emrical, Shauit, Jahnice+, Time Capsule, Mademoiselle Philippe, Francois Lachance and Andrei Nobbs, Ogguere.
